Before my wife and I were married we had a wonderful excursion around the state of Oregon. Taking in Timberline lodge on Mt. Hood and traveling back to Portland where we spent our first few nights. After leaving Portland, our vaction really began by traveling out in the country to Astoria. Where the Columbia river flows into the Pacific ocean. We took in Fort Stevens State park for a day and stayed in a yurt for the night. The next morning we traveled down the coast to northern California. The weather was perfect during the time we were there, no rain at all. These pictures mainly focus on the Fort Stevens area of our trip.
